    We are currently looking for experienced Customer Service Reps to join our Customer Service team in Oswego, IL.

    Responsibilities

    1. Act as point person to work with Production Department, consolidating requests from Customer Service regarding late orders and expedite requests to facilitate customer requests.
    2. Act as point person to identify and task members of the C/S Dept regarding unidentified RMA’s and quality issues that need to be addressed with customers, from Production.
    3. Track and report late orders and expedite requests for the production department to prioritize efforts in reduction of late orders, and best solutions for expedite requests.
    4. Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner
    5. Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines
    6. Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently, and with good communication skills
    7. Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system and policies
    8. Review quotes, orders, shipping documents, and invoices for accuracy
    9. Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manuals/systems
    10. Support department and operation needs by being a team player
    11. Provide confirmations and updates to Customer, Sales, Production, and direct supervisor
    12. Pro-actively draw out customer information to better service order requirements and provide a high level of customer satisfaction through active listening skills
    13. Pro-active customer order management through anticipating customer needs and knowing order patterns
    14. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Skills:

    1. Strong communication skills in English.
    2. Minimum of 2 years technical customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
    3. SAP, Word, Power-Point, Outlook, Excel

     

    Experience and Education:

    1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience preferred
    2. Knowledge of the Grinding or manufacturing process
    3. Strong attention to detail, possessing a sales aptitude interested in preventing errors and solving problems

     

    Essential Physical Requirements:

    1. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
    2. Visual acuity (corrected) to read directions.
