Assists sales representative in selling the organization’s products and services by providing technical expertise to prospective and established customers. Stays aware of current trends and equipment related to the organization’s products and services. Working with customers to develop product to successfully meet their grinding needs. A strong relationship with sales force and production team is important to this position.
The qualified candidate will have an Engineering degree and 3 years+ research or industrial experience in machining, grinding, lapping, polishing of engineering materials.
Additionally a familiarity with statistical tools, data analysis and drawing conclusions based on a collection of basic data and interpretation, project leadership including project management, team collaboration, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Product and industry knowledge including Metallurgy is desired
The ability to manage customer problems and come up with solutions, work with sales to explain the use and application, provide an on-site customer support when needed and the ability to see quality issues versus application misuse will enable a candidate to be successful in the job..
